verbally before service begins, to insure that we have the correct dates
and times of service as well as feeding and medication instructions. Good
communications is essential to providing quality trouble-free pet care.

of service before service will start.
If no one is
available when you call, please leave details of service you require and a
phone number where we can reach you to confirm. We will return your call
promptly upon your return.
PLANT
WATERING
Remember to leave a watering can or container for indoor plants that need
to be watered. Please be specific when placing your service order with
regard to the watering instructions for plants. Country Roads Pet Sitting

any plants. We are not plant specialists and will water only according to
the schedule and instruction you have requested of us.
CHANGE OF INSTRUCTIONS - LAST MINUTE
INSTRUCTIONS
If after ordering and confirming service, you have changes that you wish
to make, you MUST CALL the changes into the office. If you would like to
leave written instructions for the petsitter, please be sure to put your
instructions in a place that is visible to the pet sitter and will be safe
from being lost. We ask that you do not leave notes regarding change in
medication, food or any other information which could be detrimental to
your pet if the note where to be lost.
SERVICE AIDS FOR YOUR PET SITTER
Try to keep food & supplies in as few places as possible and closest to
the work area as possible. Example: All food and medicine are on the
kitchen counter. The pets are fed in kitchen. The sitter can use the sink
to clean pet dishes.
(back-up)
We ask that you leave a roll of paper towels or a hand towel for the
sitter to use in cleaning up dishes and pet messes. A small vacuum and
broom is also a good idea to help the petsitter keep things tidy.
A scrubbing pad or sponge is also greatly appreciated.
Please leave utensils such as a spoon, fork, knife, manual can-opener,
etc. that may be required to prepare the pets meal. Leave these near the
food or in the area where the meal preparation is to be accomplished.
PAYMENT POLICIES
Payment of the balance due is to be paid at the first scheduled visit. If
you are arranging for daily walks, please leave your payment at the first
scheduled visit of each week. Leaving your payment in the pet sitters work
area would be greatly appreciated. If you return home early from your
vacation, we will credit your account for the remaining balance which you
can apply to any pet sitting visits for up to one full year. If you return
home later than scheduled, we will bill you for the balance due.
